Our horses are allowed to free-feed on local timothy round bales, as well as graze frequently outside of their pasture. We feed owner-provided grain up to twice per day as well. Our barn has ample storage space for grain, supplements, tack, and anything else that our boarders' hearts desire.
1. Horses are herd animals, meaning that they naturally seek companionship within each other
2. Turn-out helps horses regulate their digestive systems
3. Free-flowing air = better respiratory health
4. Exposure to new things, as well as social interaction improves the mental health of your horse and provides mental stimulation
5. Exercise helps improve health in all areas for horses
Our facility provides two lovely riding spaces, as well as access to expansive trail networks.
For lunging, ground work, and beginning riders, we spend a lot of time in our sizable round pen.
When doing intensive riding, jumping, or practicing dressage tests, we generally move the horses into our round pen and ride in the pasture.
On top of the general care (feeding, watering, cleaning manure, etc.), we provide many other services. This includes blanketing, rehabilitation, training packages, exercising, show prep, grooming/bathing/clipping, appearances for farrier and vet care, medicine administration, trailering, and more.
We tailor boarding packages to meet the specific needs of each horse and rider team.
